｜低因咖啡歷史脈絡｜

低咖啡因咖啡其實早在1905年就被發明出來，其方法用苯來去除咖啡生豆中的咖啡因，但苯這個化學物質被證實會致癌，後來就被禁用了
現今最普遍的方式「直接溶劑法」將咖啡豆泡再特殊溶劑中，咖啡因就溶解再溶劑中，再將咖啡豆清洗去除殘餘溶劑，乾燥後再進入烘焙程序。

「二氯甲烷」與「乙酸乙酯」是最常去除咖啡因的溶劑，但二氯甲烷仍有致癌的疑慮，美國食品和藥物管理局，將含量限制10ppm（0.001%）以下。
本批次採用「乙酸乙酯」溶劑去除咖啡因，乙酸乙酯通常來自水果或蔗糖，因此成分天然，大大降低食安疑慮，製程更避開高壓或極端的熱處理方式，保留咖啡豆更多風味。
